Free event: The Great Literacy Adventure

We are excited to invite you to join us for a fun and engaging family literacy event called The Great Literacy Adventure on Saturday, April 11 in Rohnert Park! Hosted by the Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE), NorCal Public Media and our Literacy Promise Partners, this event brings storytelling, literacy activities and reading to life for children across our community.
We would be honored to have you join us for this event as we continue to grow our commitment to the Sonoma County Literacy Promise. Come for part or the whole day!

Event Highlights
The Literacy Quest: Children can participate in over 15 activities to earn a free book from the Scholastic Book Treasure Chest.
Author Appearances: Meet nationally recognized authors Matthew Gollub (The Jazz Fly) and Marissa McGee (Free the Curls!) for readings and book signings.
Interactive Media: Families can step "on air" in the KRCB radio studio or experience the PBS Green Screen.
Community Fun: The event features special guest story times, a Rohnert Park fire truck, PBS Kids characters Buddy the Dinosaur and Carl the Collector, and several local food trucks.
